During your initial consultation, we will talk about what you’re looking to achieve. You will also get an overview of the procedure that is best for you and your pre-appointment checklist.
We will suggest what procedures will work best with your natural hairline, the shape of your face and head, and we will ask how you used to cut and part your hair when it was full, and the desired hair length or hairstyle going forward.
Your personalized hair loss solution is created to match your looks, your wants, and your needs. Only once we both agree on a plan, only then, will your journey begin toward your hair loss solution.
Different versions of the permanent makeup techniques can be employed to target either your hair part, your crown, temples, or entire hairline.
We may suggest that in your case the solution is to use microblading, microshading, and even microneedling, Micro Scalp Pigmentation, also known as micropigmentation, or scalp micropigmentation. On this web page, we will focus on Micropigmentation.
Scalp micropigmentation is a Hair Tattoo or a Head Tattoo done on the scalp. But not just any tattoo artist can create the unique look of natural hair. You will want a great artist to work on your body. You will want an artist who can create the look of hair follicles by implanting your precise pigment color into the scalp. Before beginning the process, the artist develops a series of tints that match the color of your real hair and skin tone.
You will want that artist to use only top-of-the-line, industry-specific ink, that will not turn green or blue. Another common cause of discoloration is poor technique – heavy handedness of going too deep with the needle or going too dark with the pigment.
Finally, micropigmentation is performed using an electric tattoo device. It is used to draw in small strokes or dots that mimic real hair follicles. A skilled artist will have the talent to ensure the dots look like natural hair follicles and blend in smoothly. This is the technique called scalp micropigmentation — a dot-by-dot application of dyes — that mimics pointillism and is used to create the appearance of hair fullness.
After the process is completed you can return to your normal activities immediately. Aftercare instructions will be provided.
