PREPARING FOR YOUR PERMANENT MAKEUP EYELINER PROCEDURE
BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE
7-10 days
Remove Your Lash Extensions
You need to remove your lash extensions at least a week before your procedure. You must give enough time for all your lash extension glue to wash away. Even small amounts of lash glue can interfere with the application of your permanent makeup eyeliner ink. Of course, you can get your lash extensions reapplied, once you are healed.
3 days before your procedure
Stop taking all Blood Thinners
Here is a list of some blood thinners:, fish oil, and other such ‘natural’ products that thin the blood. Of course, if you take prescription blood thinners, or have been prescribed to take aspirin please consult your doctor for advice about the need to continue your blood thinner prescription, before your procedure.
Other prescription medications
If you are on any prescription medications, tell your doctor about your upcoming procedure then consult your doctor before your procedure. Ask your doctor to identify any precautions you should observe.
On the day of your procedure
Remove contact lenses before your procedure. It is important:
Do NOT put your contacts back in until any tenderness or redness has vanished from your eyes. Wear your glasses until you are healed.
