FALL & WINTER IS THE BEST TIME FOR REMOVAL
Winter is the best time of year to undergo blemish, scar, and tattoo removal in Florida. Your aftercare is easier in the cooler months, when you wear more clothes, and avoid sun and outdoor activities. Tattoo removal patients are generally restricted from water-submerging activities, activities that cause heavy sweating such as exercise and heavy labor. Patients are restricted from applying chemicals including makeup over the treated area. All of these are easier to do in the cooler months, as opposed to the heat of the summer.

CAN A TATTOO BE EASILY REMOVED?
Actually, an older tattoo is easier to remove. A new tattoo takes more sessions to remove it. In addition, it is easier to remove dark ink colors than bright colored inks. If your ink is black, you are in luck, as it might be the easiest to remove. All this assumes that you are a good candidate for removal, and the only way to know is to book a consultation.

WHAT ARE THE TATTOO REMOVAL OPTIONS
LASER TATTOO REMOVAL
Laser is the most offered medical spa technique for tattoo removal. Laser uses light. Everyone agrees that too much sunlight is bad for your skin, but for some reason they don’t make the connection that sun and laser are both light. Yes, laser light is damaging to your skin. Second reason laser is damaging to your body, is because the laser process causes the tattoo ink to be reabsorbed back into your body. Most people can’t tell the permanent makeup artist what kind of ink they had inked on their body originally, so they don’t know what that ink is going to do when it has to exit their body thru re-absorption. Unfortunately, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not regulate the ink pigments to a unified standard. Many tattoo inks contain metals which are used to create the ink colors. Heavy metal is not natural in your body, and heavy metal is not good for your body.
WHAT DOES LASER DO TO YOUR SKIN?
Laser is an intense beam of light energy directed at your skin. The beam of light destroys the outer layer of the skin (epidermis). It also heats us the underlying skin (dermis). The skin can blister and the laser light is not natural and is harmful to the skin, aging it. The laser is an intense beam of light energy, which causes blistering and peeling. Now add the tattoo ink made of heavy metal pigments and heat from the laser to cause a peel, all this could cause additional scaring. This is not a good recipe for healthy skin.
For these reasons FabULash does NOT offer Laser tattoo removal. Read more to find out what we do offer…...
SALT OR SALINE SOLUTION TATTOO REMOVAL
Some people claim that removing tattoos with salt works. Saline tattoo removal technique is not as widely offered. It is more effective, salt tattoo removal requires the skill of a professional tattoo artist.
The same procedure that put the tattoo on your body, is now used to take the tattoo off. This answers the question: How much will it hurt? Salt tattoo removal is cheaper in the long run because the tattoo lightens and fades faster. Fewer treatments are needed for the same results as laser. It is more effective because the salt removes the ink and the ink comes out of your body as a scab, (instead of the laser removal process where the ink is being reabsorbed back into your body.) Saline or salt is a natural body product. The body knows what to do with salt.
In reality, a tattoo is best removed with saline solution or salt.
For these reasons, FabULash offers Saline tattoo removal.
CREAMS FOR TATTOO REMOVAL
Most professionals doing tattoo removal use creams in aftercare and during the removal process. Be sure to discuss these in your initial consultation.

TATTOO REMOVAL…..HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
Everyone wants the best and most complete removal. Since you are reading this far, it shows you are a careful thinker and want to know where to set your expectations. Every person is different. Skin color, pigmentation, age, sex, weight, even sun exposure can play a factor in your results. For example, people of color do better with the saline solution tattoo removal, than they do with laser treatments due to hyperpigmentation issues. Another example: Some ink manufacturers’ colors like the blues and reds won't start fading well until the 6th or even 8th treatment. The type of ink used originally, the color of the original tattoo ink, and the length of time you have had the art on your body influences how many sessions and how fast you will heal.
The goal here is to have your tattoo fade and in time -disappear, and that means getting started today. So in conclusion, the best answer to “how long will it take,” is to book an consultation. This webpage cannot address your personal concerns because they are - - “personal.”
FabULash cares about using honest, clean, all natural products that really work, to remove tattoos. No laser, no acid are used here. Is it time to book a consultation? Bring your questions, and meet Jenny, FabULash’s professional permanent makeup artist.
